The label is the law
YardShelf is a record-keeping and calculation aid. It only does math on amounts you enter or confirm from a product's label, and copies label wording as a convenience. Product labels change and differ by state. Always read and follow the label on your container; it overrides anything shown in the app. Mixing, applying, storing and disposing of products is your responsibility.
Not professional advice
Guides, schedules, soil-test calculations, pool-chemistry suggestions and weather notes are general information, not professional, legal, medical or veterinary advice. Soil recommendations come from your lab's report; pool doses use published formulas and the strengths you enter. Check with your lab, county extension office, pool professional or a licensed applicator when unsure.
AI features
AI can misread labels, photos, reports and test strips, and photo checks can be wrong. Check what it found before saving or treating anything. Reading never fills in application rates; Label lookup only keeps rates whose wording it found on the label, and they stay "not checked" until you compare them with your container. Ask the label answers only from the label's own words — when in doubt, read the label.
Your account
Keep your sign-in private. You're responsible for what's entered in your household. You can delete your account at any time in the app.
Subscriptions
YardShelf Pro is an optional subscription billed through your Apple or Google account. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your store account settings. Prices and what's included are shown before you buy. No warranty; limits
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for damage to plants, lawns, pools, property, people or pets resulting from how products are used, or for indirect or consequential losses.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app means you accept the update.
