Do it right, without the spreadsheet.
- It starts with your shelf
- Scan a barcode, photograph a label, or take one photo of the whole shelf. YardShelf knows what you own, how much is left, what each product covers and when you'll need more.
- The label is the law
- Rates come from the product's EPA label, quoted word for word with a link to it, and stay marked “not checked” until you compare them with your container. Yearly limits, re-entry times, storage temperatures and resistance-group warnings come from the label too. We don't sell products of our own.
- Lawn, pests and pool in one app
- Guides for mosquitoes, ticks, ants, spiders, roaches, fleas and flies. Lawn guides for crabgrass, weeds, nutsedge, grubs, disease and feeding. Feeding programs from Virginia Tech, NC State and Purdue. Pool water math with the steps to fix it.
- Real data, not guesses
- Soil temperature from NOAA's forecast model, spray windows from Apple Weather, and AI that reads your soil test report and product labels. You check what it found before anything is saved.

Questions.
Where do the rates come from?
From each product's label. Catalog products carry the label's own words and a link to the label, and the rates start as “not checked” until you compare them with your container. YardShelf only does math on rates you've entered or confirmed. Always read and follow your product label.
Do you sell products?
No. YardShelf is brand-neutral and has no store of its own. Some products have Buy links to retailers; any affiliate link says so, and we may earn a commission when you buy through it.
How is this different from a lawn program app?
Lawn program apps tell you what to buy from their store. YardShelf starts from what you already own, covers pests and pools as well as the lawn, and works out the mix for your sprayer from each product's label.
What does it cost?
The app is free. Pro is $19.99 a year for more AI readings, full pool history and insights. Label limits, re-entry notes, rotation, reminders and your own records are never Pro-only.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Your shelf, plan and log are saved on the phone, and jobs you log offline sync when you're back online.
Which phones and places does it work in?
iPhone, in the United States. Android isn't available yet.
What happens to my data?
It's private to your household, and we don't sell it or show ads. The privacy policy lists every service that helps run the app.
